Lots of Change…

So…lots to report on our front. Where to begin?
Well, first of all, we are now the proud owners of a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. We bought it used and got a fairly good deal on it. Although, I’m still not excited about adding a car payment, it is a very useful and fun to drive vehicle! And Nate loves the stow and go seating because he’s able to haul things like he has a truck, without owning a truck.
Secondly, we have moved on to week 26 in the twin’s pregnancy! Hard to believe that next Tuesday I will enter third trimester! The babies are getting rather large (take a peek at my belly shot down below!) and are very heavy! It’s pretty funny to watch me try to get up off the floor. The baby’s move all the time now and are definitely battling for space.
Finally, our biggest change deals with my activity level. Evidently, the Braxton Hicks I talked about in my last post weren’t from overdoing it one day, but were my body’s way of telling me that it’s having a hard time with the pregnancy. After resting all weekend, I went to a meeting Monday morning and came home to just as many BH as I had on Friday. We saw the doctor on Tuesday and were told that I needed to be off my feet for the foreseeable future to try to carry these babies to term (or as close as possible).
So…I’ve been relegated to the couch, bed, and bathroom. Right now, I have plenty of movies, books, and scrapbooking to keep me busy, so it hasn’t been too bad for me. Hannah on the other hand…is having a really hard time with the change. She’s been crying more and not sleeping as well. Things will change even more in another week when Nate goes back to work. He’s been so wonderful taking over all the things that I normally do without complaining. We’re working out a “Hannah schedule” this weekend since I won’t be able to take care of her myself. Thank goodness for friends and family to help out!

HUGS! You look great!
We’ll be by Saturday morning to see Hannah and spend a little play time.
Yea on the new van! We will definitely be praying for you, Nate and Hannah!
Love, love, love the belly!
I’m glad Nate is off this week and I hope the scheduling for the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly so you can relax and just focus on baking those babies and giving hugs and kisses from the couch! HUGS!
Congrats on the new swagger wagon! I bet Hannah is having a rough time not being able to have your full attention, Gavin was the same way. We’ve just been trying to keep his days packed with extra fun activities and lots of time with his favorite people, so he doesn’t miss me as much! Praying for a healthy final trimester!!
Your whole family is in our prayers. Wish I were close enough to help but sounds like you have a wonderful support group. Hang in there!
Yay for the “mom” wheels!
Thinking of you and praying for you! Take care!
Oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!! I knew there was a reason I have been thinking about you a lot lately. Let me know if I can do anything for you. Right now, I am working 3-7 on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays. I will say extra prayers for you and the family.
Love ya,
