Lady Antebellum…

Last night, I had the opportunity to go to the Sangamon County Fair to see Lady Antebellum perform. It was actually an incredible deal! The admission fee to the fair is $15 and it covers your admission, ALL the rides, and the Grandstand concert. So for a grandtotal of $22 for the evening…I got two large bottles of water, a corndog, AND got to see Lady Antebellum!
The concert was awesome! They played for over an hour and had a really good show. Of course, the only time the crowd really went wild was when they sang their most famous songs: Love Don’t Live Here, Lookin’ For A Good Time, and I Run To You. I’ve decided that Springfield concert goers are of the passive nature. They sit and listen and politely clap. I guess I’m used to shows where you are on your feet dancing and singing along the whole time. Oh well! It was still a good time! And seriously…I’ve seen two awesome country acts this year (Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band) for $15 each! That definitely fits into my budget! Awesome!
